AL EAST Rays Red Sox O's Yankees Blue Jays AL CENTRAL Tigers Royals Indians White Sox Twins AL WEST A's Rangers Angels Mariners Astros ** Bold teams are Playoff teams ** | NL EAST Nationals Braves Phillies Mets NL CENTRAL Cardinals Pirates Reds Brewers Cubs NL WEST Dodgers Giants Diamondbacks Rockies Padres **Bold teams are Playoff teams ** |
I think in the AL it will be the Tigers and Rays in the ALCS.. with the Rays and their pitching out dueling the Tigers and their pitching to reach the World Series. This would be a GREAT series for baseball fans who enjoy pitching duels.. as both teams have great rotations... Also both teams have pretty good offenses as well.. I see the Rays winning in 5 or 6 games..
In the National League I see it being the Cardinals and Dodgers.. The Cardinals just have way to much pitching and if they stay healthy they should win the Central by a few games. The offense won't have to score to many runs, the Cardinals might have one of the best or even the best rotation in baseball. As for the Dodgers just just added more over the off season, and they have all the talent to compete this year, and everyone( meaning Puig, Hanely and Kemp) stay healthy they could score a lot of run.. I see the Cardinals sneaking this series out in 6 games.
So with that being said... I think it will be the Rays and Cardinals in the 2014 World Series with the Rays having home field.. This could be one of the better World Series in recent years.... Two great pitching rotations and pitching overall.. and both teams with better then good offenses. I say the Rays win in 6 games.
Season Awards..
MVP - Cabrera(AL) Harper (NL)
CY YOUNG - Price (AL) Kershaw(NL)
ROY: Jose Abreu(AL) Billy Hamilton(NL)
well there are my predictions for the 2014 season... which I'm sure most of them will be wrong.. but I'm hoping I get more right then I did last season...
enjoy Opening Night and
